Nursery is complete!!

The Winnie the Pooh nursery is finally complete. All we need now is a baby! Bryan was so great setting everything up for me. I am sure I drove him crazy with all my nesting.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Mom, Dad, Megan and Drew came up for a visit this past weekend. We had a great wonderful 'fall filled' weekend visiting Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Pingree Park and old town Fort Collins. We made it to the top of a range in RMNP and checked out the visitors center and as we were leaving it began to snow...pretty cool to see in September.

Nursery progress...

Bryan has done an amazing job on the nursery. The theme is modern Winnie the Pooh. Wall color is called Christopher Robin's Swing (light celery green) with the 'buzzing bee' border.

Ultrasound @ 22 weeks! Pretty amazing. The tech was really nice and was able to show daddy the spinal development. Pretty emotional day.

The Old North Church

The fame of the Old North began on the evening of April 18, 1775, when the church sexton, Robert Newman, climbed the steeple and held high two lanterns as a signal from Paul Revere that the British were marching to Lexington and Concord by sea and not by land. This fateful event ignited the American Revolution.

Day trip!!! Seven falls and Cave of the Winds

Well, it's been almost two months and we still haven't done a whole lot of "touristy" things yet. We decided take a quick trip down to Colorado Springs, CO to visit Cave of the Winds and Seven Falls.  It's about a two hour trip straight south through denver past Mile High stadium, or "Invesco field at mile high" I guess, stupid donkeys. Anyway it was a beautiful sunny and 60 out in "the springs" and it was really neat to see how the terrain changed as we drove. It's incredible that your can drive and hour in any direction and everything is completely different than what you're used to seeing.

Outside cave of the winds

We did see a few bats inside the cave..but none here thank goodness.

 Too cool to care.

These last two are from seven falls, the others are at cave of the winds
See how the stairs keep going..and going...and going...

Seven Falls

The people that took this were a couple that where on vacation...guess where from...?? Kansas City!!

This was really incredible, you could hear and see the water rushing under the ice.

224 and felt like they were straight up.  Bryan jogged up...some of the way.

Cave of the Winds

I can't give you the name of all these, but I'll do my best. Strike one,I have no idea.
Japanese village.
Strike two! You used to be able to break a piece off for a souvenir, but then they figured out rock doesn't grow very fast, who would have thought??
